Warden gives Paige much more leeway than most other Rephaite. Paige wants to escape, even though her life in Sheol I is fairly easy since she was claimed by Warden, a high-ranking Rephaite. They also use voyants to fight the flesh-eating Emin. Sheol I is controlled by the Rephaite who feed on the aether of voyants. Instead of being sent to the Tower, she is sent to Sheol I at Oxford. She’s a dreamwalker in a world where clairvoyance is outlawed and the authorities are coming for her. Summary: Short version: Paige tries to escape a prison for clairvoyants Length: 452 pages of story, 466 pages total The worst is when it’s the next book in a series and it’s been years since I read the previous book. The old books are the trickiest because sometimes my opinions on books have changed.
I tend to vary my picks from the top (old), middle (not quite as old) and end (newest). I was looking for some fantasy or scifi and decided to pick this one because it was at the top of my TBR list, making it the oldest book on the list.

Its being produced by Jonathan Cavendish, Peter Chernin, Andy Serkin, and Jenno Topping. With input from Samantha Shannon, the screen adaptation is currently being written by Islay Bell-Webb.
